Wissembourg - Final Advanced Materials

Final Advanced Materials was created in 1988 in Rott in the Bas-Rhin by Gilles Meury. In 35 years, the company has undergone remarkable development, from its founding to its international expansion.

In 2001, Final made a technological leap by launching its first website. After this digital breakthrough, we won an Alsace Innovation Trophy in 2005 for the design of aeronautical fire protection. This award strengthened our credibility on the market.

In 2015, the company took a major turning point: the purchase of Final by Jean-Louis Stanger. Under his leadership, Final created a German subsidiary in Freiburg im Breisgau. This expansion allowed the company to access new markets and strengthen its international position.

The company moved to Brunstatt-Didenheim in Haut-Rhin in 2018 to be closer to the France-Germany-Switzerland tri-region and to give more scope to textile manufacturing.

In 2021, the company expanded its areas of activity by acquiring Mécanique de Précision Piquerez (MPP), a machining workshop based in Vescemont in the Territoire de Belfort, thus adding metal and plastic machining to its skills.

Seen to adopt socially responsible and environmentally friendly behaviour, Final obtained ISO 26000 certification in 2022. In 2024, it obtained the Alsace Excellence label, reserved for the most innovative and dynamic local companies in the region.
