Aramid Fibre Braided Ropes 400 °C

Aramid Fibre Braided Ropes, heat-resistant up to 400 °C

Aramid fibres were developped in the 60s. This material consists of yellow filaments of about ten microns in diameter, assembled into threads.

Aramid braided ropes are composed of 100 % para-aramid fibres. These fibres are used in different high-tech application fields that value their thermal insulation effectiveness and their mechanical properties. These products also offer good resistance to abrasion and chemicals. Moreover, this composition gives the braided ropes excellent thermal properties. They can withstand peak temperatures up to 400 °C and operating temperatures up to 350 °C.

Aramid fibre braided ropes provided by Final Advanced Materials are available in round or square sections ranging from 5 to 15 mm in order to offer diversified technical solutions. The braided ropes can be composed of continuous or discontinuous fibres.
