High Temperature Aramid Fibre Braided Ropes 400 °C

Aramid Fibre Braided Ropes, up to 400 °C

Aramid fibre was developped in the 60s. This material consists of yellow filaments of about ten microns in diameter, assembled into threads.

High-temperature aramid braided ropes are composed of 100 % para-aramid fibres. Para-aramid fibres are used in different high-tech application fields that value their mechanical properties and their thermal insulation effectiveness. Moreover, this composition gives the braided ropes excellent thermal properties. They can withstand operating temperatures up to 350 °C and peak temperatures up to 400 °C. These products also offer good resistance to chemicals and abrasion

In order to offer diversified technical solutions, Final Advanced Materials provides aramid fibre braided ropes in round or square sections ranging from 5 to 15 mm. The braided ropes are available with continuous or discontinuous fibres.
