Instructions for use
-
Ceramic crucibles must be left empty at their working temperature.
-
Tools must be designed so as not to damage or grip the crucible without a pressure point.
-
Do not push materials into the crucible.
-
If possible, bars and large metal parts should be preheated and carefully placed in the crucible using the pliers. Do not drop metal parts into the crucible.
-
The crucible must be emptied at the end of the day. Do not leave metal waste to cool in the crucible.
-
Ensure the crucible is always filled.
-
If using chemical melting preparations, ensure these products never come into direct contact with the crucible. The action time of these products should be reduced as much as possible.
-
If possible, molten metal should be used immediately once it has reached the desired temperature.
-
Empty the waste from the crucible every day while it is still hot. Clean it thoroughly. Good maintenance increases the life of the crucible. Always use the appropriate tools.
