Magnesia powder

Magnesia powder is both an excellent electrical insulator and a very good thermal conductor. These properties are appreciated in the thermal industry as a component of thermocouples and heating systems. Available in 94% to 99.6% purity, these powders can be applied by dry pressing or injection moulding. Our powder grades vary depending on:

  • Purity
  • Grain size and distribution

Applications magnesia powder

  • Manufacture of components for temperature measurement
  • Manufacture of thermocouple cables
  • Manufacture of heating and fire-resistant cables
  • Manufacture of heat cartridges
