4/ COOKIES FOR SOCIAL MEDIA SHARING FUNCTIONS
FINAL ADVANCED MATERIALS provides users with functionalities for the sharing of editorial content, or any other type of content, which is published on the website via social media sites (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
Social media cookies are managed by the social media site publisher. The publisher of the social media site concerned will be able to identify the user by means of share buttons, even if the relevant share button has not been used during a visit to our website.
In practice, this type of application button will permit the social media site concerned to track the browsing of our website by a user, simply by the activation of a user account for that social media network (session in progress) on their terminal device while browsing the website.
FINAL ADVANCED MATERIALS has no control over the process employed by social media for the collection of information relating to the browsing of our website by a user, and associated with the personal data at their disposal.
We would suggest that any user familiarize themselves with the social media cookie management policy for the websites concerned. These protection policies are specifically intended to allow a user to exercise available options on social media sites, particularly by the setting of parameters for their user accounts on each of the social media networks concerned.
When you browse our website, the placement and reading of cookies will permit the analysis of your browsing operations, and the logging of the number of visits to our website at https://www.final-materials.com/.
You also have the option for the management of cookies employed on our website, by setting parameters on our management tool, which can be accessed using the “Privacy control button” at the foot of the page, or by setting parameters on your browser, as described below.
The user will be notified if cookies or other technologies are employed in association with connections to our website, subject to the preference expressed by the user; this preference may be modified at any time.
A number of options are available for the removal of cookies.
In practice, while the majority of browsers have default parameter settings for the acceptance of the installation of cookies, you have the option, should you so wish, to accept all cookies, to systematically reject cookies, or to select those cookies which you wish to accept, according to the originator. To this end, you can install a cookie management function for the addition, deletion, modification, retrieval, protection and blocking of cookies.
You can also set parameters on your browser for the acceptance or rejection of each individual cookie, prior to installation. You can also delete cookies from your terminal device on a regular basis, using your browser.
For the management of cookies and available options, the configuration of each browser is also possible. This function is described in the help menu of your browser, which will show you how to modify your preferences for cookie management.
However, it should be borne in mind that, by setting your browser to reject cookies, certain functionalities, pages and spaces on our website will no longer be accessible, for which we can accept no responsibility.
We would also draw your attention to the fact that, when you object to the installation or use of a cookie, a rejection cookie will be installed on your terminal device.
Likewise, when you consent to the installation of cookies, a consent cookie will be installed. Consent or rejection cookies must remain in place on your terminal device.
