High Temperature Aramid Fibre Sleeves 400 °C

Aramid Fibre Sleeves, up to 400 °C

Aramid fibre was developped in the 60s. This material consists of yellow filaments of about ten microns in diameter, assembled into threads.

Sleeves composed of continuous para-aramid fibres offer excellent mechanical and chemical properties, such as a tensile strength similar to steel products. They can withstand continuous temperatures up to 350 °C and peak temperatures up to 400 °C. Moreover, these sleeves have good resistance to chemicals and to abrasion thanks to the aramid fibre of their composition.

Aramid fibre sleeves ara appreciated for their numerous properties and are manufactured in different diameters to meet all needs. They are mainly used in the industry for thermal sealing, but also for the insulation of cables.

Final Advanced Materials provides aramid fibre sleeves in inner diameter ranging from 10 to 50 mm.
