High Temperature Zirconia Fibre Fabrics 2,230 °C

Zirconia Fibre Fabrics, up to 2,230 °C

ZYW zirconia fibre fabrics are flexible textiles made of zirconia fibre stabilised with approximately 10 % yttrium oxide. The fabrics are composed of continuous monofilaments that are mechanically interlocked in order to form a woven structure. This production ensures extreme thermal and chemical resistance in a flexible form.

ZYW zirconia fibre fabrics have an extremely low thermal conductivity and an excellent thermal resistivity. They can withstand operating temperatures up to 2,200 °C and peak temperatures up to 2,230 °C. Thanks to these properties, these fabrics can be used in the industry as battery separators at high energy, thermal insulators in crystal growth furnaces and hot gas filters. They can be easily cut.

ZYW zirconia fibre fabrics proposed by Final Advanced Materials are available untreated.
