Grade 303

Hexagonal boron nitride powder with a marked platelet structure and a high degree of purity.

Grade 304

Pure and very crystalline boron nitride powder thanks to the typical properties of boron nitride, this product is suitable for a great number of uses. Its specific surface area and granulometry has moderate values.

Pure crystalline hexagonal nitride powder, highly crystalline, distinguished by its particularly low particle size. The average particle size is 2.0μm.

Grade 307

This is a product of great purity with a marked crystalline structure. The crystals measure up to 40μm. Its properties, as well as the high thermal conductivity inherent to boron nitride, make it the ideal filler for plastics whose thermal conductivity needs to be increased. At the same time, the electrical insulation properties are preserved. Its structure allows a high concentration with a small increase in viscosity. It is very low hardness helps avoid tool wear compared to aluminium oxide, magnesium oxide and other fillers.

Grade 308

This has a high degree of purity and crystallinity. The high purity, low density, and high thermal conductivity inherent to boron nitride make it a good filler for plastics whose thermal conductivity needs to be increased. At the same time, the electrical insulation properties are preserved. Thanks to its structure, low to medium filling levels are possible, which allows it to dissipate heat. It is very low hardness helps avoid tool wear, particularly with respect to aluminium oxide, magnesium oxide and other fillers.

Grade 309

This boron nitride powder is distinguished by a particularly high specific surface area as well as a crystalline structure. The crystallites of the micro-grains constitute large agglomerates with an average particle size of 9μm. The large surface area helps obtain a good distribution in fluid systems.

Grade 310

It is distinguished by its high purity and the size of these crystallites. Its high degree of crystallinity gives this material exceptional lubricating properties. In addition, the distribution of the particle size of the powder as well as the specific surface area are relatively small. When used as a filler, the viscosity of the matrix is hardly affected.

Grade 311

    Grade 312

    Due to a specific agglomeration of large single crystallites to agglomerates of medium density, this grade is very well suited as filler and additive in plastics, for increasing the thermal conductivity and keeping the electrical insulation at the same time.

    Grade 313 is a Boron Nitride powder with good crystallinity and with a high efficiency level. Its fine particle size and low agglomerate content makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications.

    Boron nitride  is a synthetic ceramic. As a powder, it is used in many applications: mould release, lubrication or as a filler for polymers to increase thermal conductivity. It has various characteristics that differ according to the particle size (available from 1 to 280 µm) and that affect thermal conductivity, particle dispersion, lubrication, etc. Boron nitride powder is available in various grades from 301 to 315.
