High Temperature Z-Fil® Cloths 540°C

Z-Fil® Cloths, up to 540 °C

Our partner Newtex offers a wide range of fire resistant and temperature resistant products since 1978. The Zetex® and ZetexPlus® ranges present a great variety of heat resistant textiles which can withstand temperatures up to 1,095 °C. Their performances remain unbeaten up to this day.

Made from continuous filament yarn, Z-Fil® fiberglass cloth is a strong, thin, lightweight, and highly flexible high temperature fabric. It supports high temperatures up to 540 °C. It is lighter than the Zetex® fiberglass fabrics woven from texturized fiberglass yarn.

Z-Fil® fiberglass cloths exist in different versions: they are often coated with a lightweight oil and water-resistant treatment (OWR) or treated with heavier high temperature coatings like silicone or PTFE for abrasion and weather resistance (Z-Shield®) or aluminized lamination for radiant heat protection (Z-Flex®).

Applications of Z-Fil® Fibre Cloths

  • High temperature filtration
  • Facing material in thermal barriers
  • Insulation
