ZYP powder is an ultra-fine, highly reactive powder composed of zirconia stabilised with yttrium oxide.

ZYP-55 has a specific surface area of 50 to 60 m2/g. Sintering of ZYP powder particles starts around 900°C and it is possible to create zirconia ceramic parts approaching theoretical density using ZYP at only 1450°C.

    • Y2O3 : 10%

    • Trace impurities < 1%

    • Ignition loss 3,1%

    • Specific surface area 50-60 m²/g
