E-Glass Fibre Sewing Thread 700 °C
E-Glass Fibre Sewing Threads, heat-resistant up to 700 °C
E-glass fibre stands out from other materials for its great electrical insulation properties and its resistance to high temperatures. This dimensionally stable and rot-proof material also resists the main chemical agents, even with strong variations in temperature and humidity.
The flexibility of E-glass fibres allows the manufacture of strong sewing threads suitable for the assembly of heat protection as well as dielectric, chemical and thermal insulation. Moreover, these products can withstand peak temperatures up to 700 °C and operating temperatures up to 550 °C. To facilitate their sewing, the glass fibre threads are coated with PTFE. This coating breaks down at high temperature, leaving the glass fibre yarn bare.
Final Advanced Materials provides E-glass fibre sewing threads coated with PTFE in sizes ranging from 70 to 430 tex.
