High Temperature Silicate Twisted Ropes 1200°C

Silicate Twisted Ropes, up to 1,200 °C

Ropes in this range are made from white silicate fibres. Their diameter of approximately 9 μm prevents irritation and makes them a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to ceramic fibre. 

Composed of more than 94 % SiO₂, these cords are excellent thermal insulators and are resistant up to 1,100 °C in continuous temperature and 1,200 °C in peak temperature without vitrification. Their flexibility and mechanical strength make them ideal for insulating flexible pipes and cables. 

The twisted ropes are available in round cross-section in diameters from 3 to 12 mm. They are delivered in 5 m rolls.
