Aramid fibres consist of filaments of about ten microns in diameter, assembled into threads. Kevlar® threads can continuously withstand 170 °C.

Easier to handle than fibreglass threads, they are used in many technical fields.

    • Kevlar® aramid thread

    • Continuous filaments:

    • 130 – 150 Nm

    Non-continuous filaments: 

    • 120 – 140 Nm
    • 100 – 120 Nm
