Sintering of ZYP powder particles starts around 900°C and it is possible to create zirconia ceramic parts approaching theoretical density using ZYP at only 1450°C.


This ultra-fine powder is particularly appreciated in filtration, the manufacture of oxygen sensors, thermal barrier coatings for gas turbines and diesel engines, polishing and as grains growth inhibitor for non-oxide ceramics.

    • Y2O3 : 10%

    • Impurities : < 1%

    • Ignition loss : 2,2%

    • Specific surface area : 35-45 m²/g
