Z-Rock® Basalt Tapes, up to 1,095 °C
Our partner Newtex offers a wide range of fire resistant and temperature resistant products since 1978. Their performances remain unbeaten up to this day.
Newtex's Z-Rock® basalt fibre tapes have comparable properties to ZetexPlus® products, except they are more flexible and have a better rendering, meaning they avoid snagging during installation. They are other lighter and more durable than the usual basalt tapes. They can withstand a continuous temperature of 815 °C and a peak temperature of 1,095 °C. Moreover, these tapes are infrared, chemical and abrasion resistant.
They are mainly used in the automotive, aerospace and transportation sectors for cables, pipes and exhaust system insulation.
